GREEN SOUP

Whether called varte soup, green soup, white soup, herb soup, or even junk soup, this once very popular recipe was that of a soup made from a cereal such as barley and a good quantity of wild and/or cultivated herbs.

We used the greenery we had on hand, those that grew around the house, depending on the season, and that’s all!
