Cyril is a senior business strategist specializing in project management and agri-food strategic planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from ESG UQAM and has been a chartered professional accountant (CPA) for over 10 years. He shares his passion for entrepreneurship as a mentor to the next generation of agri-food entrepreneurs at the Fondation Initia.

His expertise in project management methodologies, leadership and communication enables him to provide invaluable support to management teams. He excels at quickly understanding organizations’ objectives and translating them into concrete plans using a variety of project management methodologies and tools. He also advises organizations on managing budgets and resources, making crucial decisions, solving complex problems and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

His experience in high-end international gastronomy and his excellence in promoting specialty food products earned him the honor of “Sourceur de l’année” by the OMNIVORE festival in Paris in 2016.

Alexander is a senior brand strategist and expert in agri-food innovation and marketing. His forward-thinking vision of the bio-food sector and his ability to generate innovative ideas and conceptualize new value-added products and services make him a valuable collaborator. His expertise is well recognized, having been awarded the prestigious Good Food Innovation prize by the University of Guelph. In addition, he has an in-depth knowledge of the history of Quebec’s food heritage, acquired through his collaboration with eminent historian Michel Lambert.

With many years’ experience working alongside entrepreneurs and high level management committees, Alexander has developed an avant-garde, dynamic approach to consulting. This approach allows managers to step out of their comfort zone, while retaining a key role in the thinking process. It offers them a fresh perspective on managing their business strategy and model, with a focus on rigorous, balanced marketing of specialty products and value-added services.

In addition to his work as a strategist, Alexander is passionate about his field of expertise and regularly shares his knowledge by writing articles for the culinary magazine Caribou. He is also a prominent speaker, participating in international food events and summits. He is currently working on a book that will explore new and creative avenues for the development of tomorrow’s bio-food sector.
