Giant fir
November 25, 1974
A cargo plane departing earlier from Montreal lands at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport in France. In its hold, its handlers come face to face with an unusual colossus. This titan was a 35 meter high Christmas tree offered to France by the government of Quebec of the time. This will be erected at Porte Maillot, in Paris, throughout the festivities surrounding Christmas and New Years Day celebrations.
